terms of service

Effective date: October 14, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of What’s Down, available at whatsdown.app (“What’s Down”, the “Service”).

What’s Down is operated by Fedik, a sole proprietorship registered in Israel (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What What’s Down Does

What’s Down is a self-reflection and general wellness tool designed to help you explore everyday factors that may be affecting your mood.

The Service may ask questions about areas such as sleep, food, routines, screen use, recent events, and your current circumstances. It uses your responses, including optional written input, to generate personalized observations and practical suggestions.

Some content may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence.

What’s Down is intended for informational, educational, and self-reflection purposes only.

2. Not Medical or Mental-Health Care

What’s Down is not a medical service, mental-health service, therapy service, or crisis service.

The Service does not provide medical or psychological diagnoses, treatment, or professional advice and is not a substitute for a doctor, psychologist, therapist, or other qualified professional.

Do not rely on What’s Down to make medical or mental-health decisions.

If you believe you may be experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service.

Please also review our Disclaimer for additional information about these limitations.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use What’s Down.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts and Access

What’s Down may allow some functionality to be used without creating a traditional account.

Certain features, including paid features, may require you to create or link an account so that we can identify your subscription and provide access across sessions or devices.

You are responsible for maintaining control of the authentication methods associated with your account.

5. Free Use

What’s Down currently allows eligible users to complete up to three free sessions.

We may change the availability or limits of the free service in the future. Any change will not create a retroactive charge for previously free use.

Attempting to circumvent usage limits by creating multiple identities, manipulating authentication, or interfering with the Service may result in restricted access.

6. Paid Subscriptions

We may offer an optional paid subscription providing continued or additional access to What’s Down.

The planned price is $3 USD per month. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, the subscription renews automatically each month until canceled.

Before purchasing, the checkout page will display the applicable subscription price, billing frequency, and any applicable taxes or charges.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions automatically renew at the applicable billing interval until canceled.

Paid subscriptions will only become available once the relevant purchasing functionality is offered through the Service.

7. Payments

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider acting as the Merchant of Record for the transaction.

The payment provider may collect information necessary to process your purchase, such as your name, email address, billing information, payment method information, and applicable tax information.

What’s Down does not need to receive or store your full payment-card details.

The identity of the applicable payment provider and the final price and billing terms will be shown during checkout.

8. Cancellation

When paid subscriptions are available, you will be able to cancel your subscription at any time so that it does not renew for another billing period.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You will retain paid access until that period ends.

Canceling prevents future renewals but does not ordinarily create a refund for the current billing period.

Nothing in these Terms limits cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated at checkout, payments for subscription periods that have already begun are generally non-refundable.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or have another payment issue, contact us at [email protected].

Any refund may be processed through the applicable payment provider.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes;
  • attempt to circumvent usage or subscription restrictions;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or another user’s data;
  • use automated systems to abuse or excessively access the Service;
  • reverse engineer or exploit the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
  • use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of others.

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, other users, or comply with law.

11. AI-Generated Content and Accuracy

What’s Down uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to generate some observations and suggestions.

AI-generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or misleading. We do not guarantee that any observation, explanation, or suggestion produced by the Service is correct or suitable for your particular circumstances.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to act on information provided by the Service.

12. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep What’s Down available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, add, remove, or discontinue features. We may also update the Service for security, technical, legal, or product reasons.

Where a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice where required.

13. Intellectual Property

What’s Down, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by or licensed to Fedik and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms give you permission to use the Service for your personal use. They do not transfer ownership of the Service or its intellectual property to you.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Because the Service may involve information about your mood and circumstances, please avoid providing unnecessary identifying or highly sensitive information in optional written responses.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee any particular emotional, health, personal, or other outcome from using What’s Down.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fedik will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply to you based on your place of residence.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate or legally required, provide additional notice.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
